Buffalo River

This jump is in Arkansas on the Buffalo River between the Hershey Mountain access and the Woolum access. The only way to the jump to paddle the river from Hershey to Woolum, the exact location of the jump is 1 ½ miles upriver from Woolum at a spot marked on all maps and river guides as skulls bluff. The access to the cliff from the river is obvious and there are many jump spots ranging from 20’ to 60’. I have jumped here the last two years and water depth has never been a problem but check anyways because water levels change rapidly on the buffalo river. If you are camping along the way on the buffalo this is a great camping spot or lunch spot with a deep swimming hole along the bluff.
