Nope. Friends are rad.

Yeah, the ones that stand out in my mind are: an over-rotated double forward flip from a 30 foot cliff. It gave me a concussion and temporary memory loss.
And then an over-rotated back flip from a 40 foot overpass. I had done it a dozen times but just wasn’t paying attention this time and did a super-awesome back-flop. That hurt for at least a month.

What's your highest jump and do you have a limit?
I have thought I might like to try 100 feet, but so far I’ve just done 75.

Do you prefer to hike in for bigger jumps or just gimme easy access?
Variety is good.

Got hurt on a 75-footer in Cali, somewhere in the sierras on a river. legs split apart on impact, pulled my groin and also had bleeding ears from the pressure.

That was my highest, no real limit. if it looks like ill get hurt badly, i wont do it.

prefer to hike in. less people, cleaner, more peaceful.

I've been falling off things since before I could walk. Then started jumping off roofs. In high school I found a rope swing along a river and I was hooked.

Hanging by the feet from a tree or cliff and just letting go.

I think the SEARCH is half the fun and challenge and want a hike, I like to get away. The further out means the people there WANT to be there for the jump, and the people who don’t want you to do it probably wont even know that site is there.

National Park exploring, Snowboarding, and Skydiving helps with my phenylethylamine shortage.

Radiohead, tool, rage...,and floyd mostly, but everything really. Classical too! I have a 600 disc CD changer on mega-control shuffle at all times, and 12 in my car.

P.S. The thing I dislike about this sport and would change is... people leaving beer cans, bottles, wrappers, wet socks, and crud all over. This makes authority figures want to stop us. Pack in-pack out. If others don’t, its up to you. I bring a 50 gallon bag and fill it up when I get there ( and if someone comes to bust me I say " I'm here picking up litter, guy !" )

Fractured my left arm the first time I jumped 16m (52ft). Was only 12 yrs old. Hurt my chest-muscles (?!) in a jump from 13m (43ft) at about 13 yrs old. Broke a tooth on an over-rotated frontflip from 10m (33ft). And also some bruises and smacks here and there... :)

What's your highest jump and do you have a limit?
22m (72ft). Planning on "30+m" (100+ft) this summer... I'd say that's the limit...

Doesn't matter as long as the spot is worth it!

A little bit of snowboarding. Would really like to do some bungeejumping and skydiving, but haven't had the opportunity. Also like climbing.

Feet first? At least from the high stuff, but from 30 or so I'll do a back and a half flip with a half twist.

An unnamed waterfall in Costa Rica that some friends from a village I lived in showed me one summer. Nice rock ledge for jumping from about 25ft, can climb behind waterfall and dive through the actual fall from about 40ft, and can skirt the fall and jump the top from 65. Awesome.

Sprained a wrist doing a flip from 45ft.

Powder Hole, Pennsylvania. It's an old explosive factory with an ancient train bridge. You creep out onto a steel support, then jump 50 feet into the bottom of a waterfall with a landing area of like 10-15 feet or you'll maim yourself on rocks...whats not to like?

I only jump to show off for girls. Not much point in doing it if there are no girls around.

A few 25 ft. belly/back flops while attempting front/back flips and dives. Once on a 70 ft tree jump i landed with my mouth open and water rushed in and tore the lining of flesh that attaches my gums to my cheeks, little pockets of ripped flesh..fun stuff though it did heal really quickly.

So far only like 70. No limit though. I'm in PA...rolling hills of boredom..not many good spots.

Yes, I bailed off a 50ft jump and landed flat on my back in the water. I got minor whiplash and twisted my spine a tad. I had to take a day off work and my back's still sore every once in a while.

65/70ft so far, I'm willing to go higher depending on how far out I have to jump.

I''ve had countless bruises and bumps from learning flips, a lot of arm-slaps ,and occasionaly i forget to close my legs. Other than that, i hurt my back jumping a 60ft bridge,which still bothers me from time to time, and i almost broke my neck diving from 10 feet.

My biggest is 90 feet, i've done it three times,but i won't go higher unless i'm really feeling inspired

That's the question that goes through every cliff jumper's mind before each jump! - I think it's one of the reasons we jump!

Yes, but not too seriously. I was trying a one and a half off of a 40 ft. cliff and ended up only doing a one and a quarter - so the tops of both my thighs got SLAMMED and were black and blue for days after.

So far, about 60 ft. My dream is to dive off the cliffs at Acapulco before I die - so I really don't think about limits... !

I found a nice one at L'Ile Rousse in Corsica. You jump from a rocky cliff into a channel of sea. I like also the famous Pont du Diable (devil's bridge) near Montpellier in France. It's 18m high and full of audience!

Never had the opportunity but I would ( esp. to try new tricks when no one is there to watch me land flat - from a reasonable height of course)

Yes...funny story...I wasnt exactly jumping. Rather i was running back up the track at Douglas Park to get the top to go again and I must not have seen it, I ran into a tree branch right at my eyeline. Got knocked out cold and almost fell back down the cliff. I reckon the climb back out is a part of the jump.

85 ft.

I dont mind a hike in, it builds up anticipation for the spot and there can be some really nice scenery on walks into spots.

Not really much, i used to skate but i wasnt very good. Bungy jumping is great fun, it doesnt compare to doing it without the cord though

A couple times yeah… had a few “enema’s” OUCH!... bruised my feet (not pointing my toes of the big ones) and have slapped my arms and legs on the water many times…? I hit bottom once too, not hard enough to hurt myself but I scratched my ankle on some rocks

My highest “regular” jump is 100ft… my highest GANOR was 90 feet… as you will see in JUMP JUNKIES!!?

I like to explore, but I’m pretty anal about making sure someone has already jumped it before I do… cause u never know what’s down there.?

A no name hole near Cripple Creek Colorado. It's a half enclosed canyon with a 15 foot pool at the bottom. Jumps vary from 20 feet up to 80. Absolutely beautiful.

I've compressed a disc in my back from a 40 dive, and I've chipped a few molars off a 65 footer. Always keep the jaw shut feet first amigos!

Cut my legs and feet multiple times from hitting rocks. Twice I bled internally on my face under my eyes after diving head- first at Rainbow Falls (101ft). In addition, I pretty much bruise myself every time I jump above 40ft, but hey, no pain, no gain.

110ft - Although now I try to stay 80ft and under...

I attempted to do a double front flip one time, but my foot slipped right as a pushed up with it. I ended up landed on my side. At the instant I hit the water, I saw my stomach hanging over my other hip. It was pretty sick.
