I just came across your amazing site. What a great find, I found a brotherhood that I didnt know existed! I have jumped many a heart pounding cliffs and know the glory of rising to the surface to hear the cheer of my jumping comrades and the inspired but gravity bound onlookers.

This jump spot was insane!(Monkey Canyon/California13) First of all, there aren't any signs that say Monkey canyon, you just pull off the side of the road and park in the dirt. We stopped at the cafe to buy the parking pass and they wouldn't tell us where monkey canyon is. Thankfully, I wrote down the exact directions off your site and was able to find it, by going back exactly 1.8 miles back from the cafe. Then the hike, ohhhh man. There weren't any ropes and we had to decend down a mountain, it wasn't a hillside, it was a mountain. Once we hit the creek it was easy to find, we just went all the way down the creek about 1/2 mile.
The jumps were fun, there were all different sizes all around the creek. We didn't jump off the biggest one, because it looked like you had to clear a rock and we wanted to see someone else do it first. We got to do some fun tricks and all in all it was fun!
The climb back up the mountain was terrible. I was staying as low to the ground as possible, but there was alot of loose dirt, so I kept sliding. We ended up going off the trail and climbing threw some bushes, so that we had branches to put our feet on. It was quite a work out. Anyways it was a fun spot and I would definately go again, but it's not a place to bring any girls. And if I go back I will definately bring a camera. There was never an actual swim, just parts where you had to go into the creek waste deep, then exit the side.

Your site's wicked even if you do do it by yourself! I live on Whidbey Island here in the San Juans. I've actually hit up a bunch of your spots on the site. I've yet to make it down to Battle Ground though. I tell everyone with the slightest interest in an alternative lifestyle of fun to check out your site. Keep on doing what your doing, we appreciate it!
